Roles & Responsibilities:

• Analyze end-user need and requirements;
• Collaborate with Systems, Integration Team for ensuring that all aspects and scenarios are captured to determine design feasibility.
• Conduct and actively participate in cross team functionality meetings with Electrical, Human Factors, and Test Automation, System Engineering group to discuss the system design considerations, key features and their capabilities, and project limitations.
• Provide feedback on project scope to Triage team,
• Develop the Use Cases/ Workflow documents, and provide necessary feedback, corrections and comments in creating the final version of Requirements/Use Cases/Workflow documents.
• Create the design approach prior to software development, and conduct peer reviews and make necessary improvements based on feedback.
• Develop software for the device & execute them as per proprietary Hybrid process. The Process methodologies are Hybrid versions of Agile and Kanban models.
• Use C, C++, Python Languages in the Development cycle.
• Verify the functionality of manufacturing test firmware and produce validation reports.
• Develop & run test scripts that leverage console commands Assemble tests that would detect hardware defects during the assembly process.
• Foresee and identify hardware failures, identify design vulnerabilities and methodically cover all design system features are essential to deliver a high-quality product.
• Develop software verification protocols and execute them to test against the software requirements as per process.
• Interact with systems and verification teams timely to determine system performance.
• Drive automation of firmware test cases to help scale development & manufacturing test process. 
• Identify any software technical challenges that have to be addressed on high priority.  Monitor the operation of assigned software programs and respond to problems by diagnosing and correcting errors in logic and coding.

Position Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or closely related field, OR
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or closely related field; AND five (5) years of experience in the offered position or equivalent
